Nalam Oil Organic was born from a simple belief — that the food we consume should nourish us the way nature intended. Founded in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, by Meikkappan Elakkiyan, our brand is dedicated to bringing back the tradition of cold-pressed, chemical-free edible oils to modern Indian kitchens.

We noticed that most commercially available oils are refined, bleached, and deodorized — stripping away the very nutrients that make them beneficial. So we decided to go back to the roots. Back to the wooden ghani. Back to slow, traditional pressing methods that preserve every drop of nutrition.
